1 When you have loaded your farm, right click on the game screen and change the "quality" to "low" You will have to do this everytime you reload the game. This increases your game speed.
2 Place all of your animals in their sheds / barns / coops as this makes loading faster.
3 Hide everything on your farm before closing for example your decorations, trees, flowers & buildings etc, as this makes re-loading faster.
4 When you have loaded your farm, right click on the game screen and change the "quality" to "low" You will have to do this everytime you reload the game only, not from farm to farm. This increases your game speed.
5 When hiring an employee, leave the farm as your avatar slows down the game for them.
6 Re-load your farm approx every 1/2 hr as the longer you stay on your farms the slower it gets.
7 9 X crops can dramatically slow down movement for your worker, depending upon their computers capabilities to the point of freezing their game, if this is the case it is best to harvest/plow/plant yourself.
8 Layering your trees on top of flowers and crops can also make a farm lag.
9 Un-tick "show animals when not at home" from your preferences tab which can be found by clicking your wrench icon.
10 Keep your gaming maintenance up to date. Clean at least once per week, try not to wait until something is wrong.
