|HOW TO EDIT YOUR FACEBOOK GROUP NOTIFICATIONS|
||Stop the GROUP notifications going to your FaceBook email account + other Notification settings. No-one likes to receive hundreds of group emails, you will be inundated with all group posts going to your Face Book email account. If you receive annoying texts on your Mobile/Cell phone you can also edit these by clicking on the link below.
This is how I disabled them, scroll down until you see "Groups Activity" and click on "edit" you then customize to suit your requirements. This link will take you to your notification settings on FaceBook.
|HOME PAGE / NEWS FEED
|If you are seeing the group posts on your home page that is normal, how ever only group members will see these and not your non group friends. If you click on the drop down arrow next to the post you will see "hide" - you click on "Hide" - Then you will see "Hide all stories from (GROUP NAME) if you select that you will no longer see this group posts on your home page, only in the group when you visit. Or you may see the images below.
If you have changed your mind and want to reverse this you simply hover over the "News Feed" bookmark in the left column. Click the icon that appears to the left and select Edit Settings.Click X next to the name of the friend, Page, group, event or app whose stories you want to unhide, Click Save. Removing someone or something from your list of hidden stories means those stories can appear in your News Feed again.
To change your notification settings for a group, go to the group and click Notifications in the top right under your group's cover photo. You can turn notifications on for All Posts, for Friends' Posts or turn them Off.
Note: If the group reaches 250 members or more, its notification settings will be set to Friends' Posts by default. Individual members of the group can still change their own notification settings.
When you get notifications for a post in a group, you can stay up-to-date whenever someone comments on the post.
To turn on notifications, click above the post and select Get Notifications. If you change your mind, select Stop Notifications. Notifications are automatically turned on for posts you write or comment on.
Note: You can still adjust the notifications you receive from group activity by editing your notifications settings for the group.
